Red Lobster's Citrus Cous Cous Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Dry cous cous |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Water |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1 | Mandarin oranges | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped fresh dill |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped fresh mint |
Place water, salt sugar, pepper, and olive oil in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add cous cous, cover and let stand for about 7 minutes.
Fold in oranges, juice, and fresh herbs. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
